Customer agrees to allow a site sign like the one pictured above to be displayed
on the property which work is to be done on, unless town ordinance prohibits the
display of site signs.
- Booking deposits are required and are not refundable.
- Labor charges are calculated by the hour and rounded up to the closest
half hour after the first hour. The customer agrees and understands that labor
charges include material pick up time to and from the store.
- All other deposits are not refundable
- Any overpayments are non refundable. Gipetto's will issue a credit toward
future work.
- Estimates are done on a time and materials base, please allow for
unforeseen problems and hidden damages unforeseen repairs beyond the actual
repair. All labor will be charged by the hour for each Tech and each helper at
the rate shown on your estimate. Please allow 10% to 20% to be charged for price changes in
materials, materials overages and any other changes beyond Gipetto's control.
- Upon accepting the our estimate of work to be done the customer agrees to
pay a booking deposit of $200.00 and also agrees to pay the balance of 50% of
the remaining balance after the booking deposit has been deducted on the day we start the work.
The balance will be paid on completion of the work unless the work goes
over the a Friday then the customer agrees to pay the balance due up to that
day.
- The customer is to obtain all permits and agrees to pay all and any fines
incurred by Gipetto's for not having proper permits.
- All contractors and sub contractors must submit an invoice of time billing
with a copy of insurance binder naming Gipettos-Taratech as the additional
insured with
a copy of a valid business license
- All invoices are due on the day the work is completed unless otherwise
agree upon in writing. The customer agrees to pay a $5.00 per day late fee
if
payment is not received on time.
- All workmanship labor is guaranteed for 30 days.
- Parts, supplies & materials carry the manufactures guarantee only.
- Customer is to purchase all supplies/materials to be used.
- Customer agrees to pay for pick up and delivery of materials at the
regular hourly Gipetto's rate. Gipetto's is not responsible for damage to
materials picked up for the customer.
- Returned checks will have a $50.00 handling fee added.
- Refunds: All refunds must be approved by Thomas F. Jaconia Jr and will be
processed within 60 days
- Start dates can vary 3 to 5 business days due to work over runs and
weather.
- All agreements contingent upon delays beyond our
control. The customer agrees to pay all costs of collection, including attorney's
fees.
- Local commercial accounts with estimates under $250.00 which have not paid
a booking deposit agree to pay a no show or cancellation fee of $95.00 if they
have another contractor complete the work prior to the start date or if they cancel
the work order either verbal or written.
- The customer agrees to receive e-mail adds from Gipetto's
- You the customer understand and agree that the owners of Gipettos -
Tratech shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential
or exemplary damages, including but not limited to, damages for loss of profits,
data or other intangible losses (even if the owners of Gipetto's - TaraTech has
been advised of the possibility of such damages), resulting from services
performed or the use or the inability to use the product(s) and or service(s) or
any misuse of the product(s) and or service(s) in a manner not in accordance
with their intended use.

Gipetto's HandyMan assumes no responsibility for any damage incurred to any
property as a result of the services or advice given by our experts. If you
are not certain after receiving advice or an explanation of exactly how the work needs to be done,
you should hire another professional. Gipetto's HandyMan also assumes no
responsibility for any city, county, or state building codes which can vary
from area to area. The customer should always contact the local building department to
obtain all and any proper work permits.
